Boeing Australia Ltd.
Boeing Australia has been working with Australians for more than 80 years, and has had a direct investment in Australian businesses since the 1996 global acquisition of Rockwell which included Rockwell Australia, now known as Boeing Defence Australia Ltd. The proud acquisition of a piece of Australian aviation history and one of the world’s pioneering aviation names, Hawker de Havilland, followed in December 2000.
Indeed Australian flag carrier Qantas Airways was the first non-American airline to purchase Boeing’s first jetliner, the 707, an aircraft that began a 1959 revolution in air travel for Australians by halving the flight times to the rest of the world. This very first jet recently returned to Australia and a permanent resting place at the Qantas Outback Founders’ Museum at Longreach, Queensland.
Imag’s long partnership with Boeing Australia began back in early 2000 with the organisations first purchase of Enovia MatrixOne and has grown to represent Imag’s largest installed user base with in excess of 1000 named users currently using the system.
Operating across both the open and restricted domains Enovia MatrixOne provides an integral part of the program and configuration management requirements for core engineering initiatives.
