Background
Imag Australia was established in 1992 as the exclusive distributor for a range of leading CAD/CAM/CAE and Product Data Management products, including SDRC I-DEAS and Metaphase (now Siemens Teamcentre Enterprise), designed for the Engineering, Manufacturing and Industrial Design sectors in Australia and New Zealand. In 2000 Imag Australia made the strategic decision to realign its core business focus to the next generation of Product Lifecycle Management products and secured the role of sole provider in Australia and New Zealand for the then eMatrix® PLM software suite from MatrixOne® Corporation.
Dassault Systèmes acquired MatrixOne Corporation in 2007 and Imag Australia has maintained the strong relationship throughout this transition period and is now recognised as one of three global channel partners capable of providing advanced services for the Enovia MatrixOne product suite.
Imag Australia also maintains a close relationship with its parent organisation Imag Industries ( Headquartered in Sunnyvale California ) where together both organisations offer advanced products and services in the PLM space in Australia, Hong Kong and mainland China.
