A Trend of Transition

Imag Australia customer base represents the largest installed user base of true enterprise Product Lifecycle Management solutions within Australia. The current customer base exceeds 3500 named users across predominantly the Aerospace and Defence business sector and represents an annual growth of 10 to 15 percent year on year over the last 5 years.

Traditionally Aerospace and Defence has been driven by long term engagements requiring the rigors of consistency provided by PLM. Surprisingly Imag has noticed a recent change in strategic direction for PLM and has experienced a sudden uprise in interest from the apparel and footwear sector. Although both A&D and Apparel appear to be very different industries the underlying similarities of the need for global collaboration, reduced cycle times and dealing with  increasing complexity in processes remain consistent. 

In fact today Pacific Brands (one of Australia’s largest footwear and apparel manufacturers) represents Imags second largest PLM customer with an installed base of 600 users.
