Australian Aerospace is the only helicopter producer in Australia and New Zealand and a subsidiary of the Eurocopter, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of EADS, the largest aerospace and defence company in Europe. The Company can trace its heritage in Australia back to 1927 and is backed by the strength and expertise of Eurocopter and EADS.

Australian Aerospace employs approximately 600 people and has a turnover of AUD 661 million with facilities in Adelaide, Auckland, Bankstown, Brisbane, Darwin, Moorabbin, Oakey, Redcliffe, Richmond.

Imags partnership with Australian Aerospace began in June 2006 with a targeted Enovia MatrixOne deployment for 3 of the organisations programs;   MRH90, Tiger and Caribou.       Two were in the early phases of delivery whilst Caribou was into the through life – post deployment stage of the program.

Since then Australian Aerospace has grown the installation to include a number of additional programs and is currently ( as of April 2009 ) in the process of deploying an organisation wide solution to integrate the Enovia Aerospace and Development accelerator across the engineering and contracts management areas of the business.     Current license count stands at 280 users across a variation of Enovia MatrixOne functionality.
